Our gifts of bread and wine, 

Which once were

wheat and grape 

Will be your flesh and blood.

Receive, O holy Father, 

Almighty eternal God,

this spotless sacrificial offering 

Which our people make to you.

We offer it for our failings, 

Our countless sins and offences, 

May it rise before you as a fragrance

for our own and the whole world’s salvation.
