Hebrew children, bearing olive branches, 

Went forth to meet the Lord, crying out 

And saying: "Hosanna in the highest".

Shout, O Jerusalem, praise your God, 

Zion, sing to Him and bless his name 

Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna, to the Son of David! 

The Lord's is the earth and its fullness, 

The world and all its people, 

It is he who set it on the seas; 

On the waters he made it firm. 

Who shall climb the mountain of the Lord? 

Who shall stand in his holy place? 

Those with clean hands and pure heart, 

Who desire not worthless things. 

They shall receive blessings from the Lord 

And reward from the God who saves them. 

Such are the ones who seek him, 

Seek the face of the God of Jacob. 

Lift up, O gates, your lintels, 

Reach up, you ancient doors, 

That the king of glory may enter. 

O gates, lift high your heads. 

Who is the king of glory? 

The Lord, the mighty, the valiant,
