Blest be the tie binding two hearts 

As man and wife, until death do them part. 

Such kindred minds, God made them signs: 

Sign of Christ's gift to his Bride from the Cross. 

Good times or bad, in sickness or health, 

For better, for worse, with little or wealth, 

See now they promise ever to be faithful, 

Loyal and true, all the days of their life. 

Look on this bride, O Father of all. 

Your blessing she asks, your grace, love and peace. 

Lord, may her husband treat her as his equal, 

Honour and love her as Christ loves his Church. 

Keep them for ever true to your law, 

Examples to all, a mark of your love. 

Give them the strength which comes from the gospel, 

Fullness of life in your kingdom, 0 Lord.
